Definitions
This privacy policy is based on the definitions used by the European legislator when adopting the GDPR (Article 4 GDPR). This privacy policy is intended to be both easy to read and easy to understand for everyone. To ensure this, we would first like to explain the terms used. Among others, the following definitions are used in this privacy policy:
- ‘data subject’ – any identified or identifiable natural person whose personal data are processed by the controller responsible for the processing.
- ‘processing’ – any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.
- ‘restriction of processing’ – the marking of stored personal data with the aim of limiting their processing in future.
- ‘profiling’ – any form of automated processing of personal data consisting of the use of such personal data to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to a natural person, in particular to analyse or predict aspects concerning that natural person’s performance at work, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behaviour, location or movements.
- ‘third party’ – a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body, other than the data subject, the controller, the processor and the persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or processor, are authorised to process the personal data.
- ‘consent’ – any freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the data subject’s wishes, in the form of a statement or a clear affirmative action, by which the data subject signifies agreement to the processing of personal data relating to them.
Name and contact details of the controller responsible for the processing
These data protection notices apply to data processing by: Pridonu GmbH, represented by its managing director Mr Nikolai Panasenko, Oranienburger Str. 44, 16540 Hohen Neuendorf, email: info@pridonu.de, telephone: +49 170 9650439.
Collection and storage of personal data, and the nature and purpose of its use
a) When visiting the website
You can generally use our website without disclosing your identity. When you access our website, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to our website’s server. This information is stored temporarily in what is known as a log file. The following information is recorded without any action on your part and stored until it is automatically deleted:
- the IP address of the requesting computer,
- the date and time of access,
- the name and URL of the file retrieved,
- the website from which access is made (referrer URL),
- the browser used and, where applicable, your computer’s operating system, as well as the name of your access provider.
We process the aforementioned data for the following purposes:
- ensuring a smooth connection to the website,
- ensuring convenient use of our website,
- evaluating system security and stability, and
- for further administrative purposes.
The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes for data collection listed above. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you as a person.
b) When using our contact form
For enquiries – for example about a demo, a callback or trial access – we provide a contact form. The details you enter (your enquiry, name, company where applicable, email address, telephone number where applicable, and your message) are transmitted to our web server in encrypted form and forwarded from there to us solely as an email. The form data is not stored on the web server beyond this. To prevent automated misuse, your browser solves a small computational task in the background before sending (without involving any third parties), and the number of submissions per sender is briefly limited; for this, your IP address is used only as a non-reversible hash value. To detect abusive requests, your IP address and technical details of your browser (language, user agent) are also transmitted to us with the request and deleted together with it.
This data is processed for the purpose of handling your enquiry and, where applicable, carrying out pre-contractual measures pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR, and otherwise on the basis of your voluntarily given consent pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR. The personal data received by us in connection with your enquiry is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with.
Disclosure of data
We only disclose your personal data to third parties if:
- you have given your express consent to this pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR,
- the disclosure is necessary pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in your data not being disclosed,
- a legal obligation to disclose exists pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. c GDPR, and
- this is legally permissible and necessary pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR for the performance of contractual relationships with you.
Use of cookies
This website does not use cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking services. No information is stored on or read from your device.
Plugins and tools
This website does not embed any third-party content or services. All fonts, images and scripts are delivered from our own server; when you visit the website, no connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google) is established.
Links to third-party websites
The links published on our website are researched and compiled with the greatest possible care. However, we have no influence on the current and future design and content of the linked pages. We are not responsible for the content of the linked pages and expressly do not adopt their content as our own. Sole liability for illegal, incorrect or incomplete content, and for any damage arising from the use or non-use of the information, lies with the provider of the website to which reference was made. Any liability of a party who merely refers to a publication by means of a link is excluded. We are responsible for third-party references only if we have positive knowledge of them – that is, also of any unlawful or criminal content – and it is technically possible and reasonable for us to prevent their use.
Rights of data subjects
You have the right:
- pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR, to request access to your personal data processed by us. In particular, you may request information about the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data where they were not collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, where applicable, meaningful information about the details thereof;
- pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR, to request without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data or the completion of your personal data stored by us;
- pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR, to request the erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary for exercising the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
- pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, where the accuracy of the data is contested by you, the processing is unlawful but you oppose its erasure and we no longer need the data, though you require it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or where you have objected to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR;
- pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or to request its transmission to another controller;
- pursuant to Art. 7(3) GDPR, to withdraw your consent, once given, at any time with us. The consequence of this is that we may no longer continue, in future, the data processing that was based on this consent; and
- pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As a rule, you may contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace, or of our registered office, for this purpose.
Right to object
Insofar as your personal data are processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right, pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, to object to the processing of your personal data, provided that there are grounds arising from your particular situation, or where the objection is directed against direct marketing. In the latter case you have a general right to object, which we will implement without you having to state a particular situation. If you would like to exercise your right to withdraw consent or your right to object, an email to info@pridonu.de will suffice.
Data security
During your visit to the website, we use the widely used SSL (Secure Socket Layer) procedure in combination with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. Whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form can be seen from the closed representation of the key or lock symbol in your browser’s address bar.
We otherwise use suitable technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or deliberate manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
